WelcomeThe Parish of St Thomas the Apostle, Camp Hill, is a small but vibrant Christian community which seeks to live out the gospel values of compassion, hospitality and justice. We strive to model our community on the missionary work of St. Thomas, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, who carried the Good News of the love and forgiveness of God to the people in his own world and out as far as India.
For over 80 years, up until December 2013, the Parish was under the pastoral care of the priests from the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. The first Parish Priest was Fr. Arthur Perkins MSC. In January 2014 the Archdiocese of Brisbane accepted the responsibility for providing a priest to serve in the Parish and Fr. Peter Casey was the first Archdiocesan Priest to be appointed to the Parish. We are blessed to include both long standing senior members and many young families in our parish, many of whom contribute to the running of daily parish life. Our Parish School is also an integral part of the mission of the Parish. Please do not hesitate to contact the Parish Office if you have any questions or would like to find out more about the Parish.
